The Wine Merchants House
Brand Identity, Photography, Website
2025

A small identity and photography for a 17th-century Grade II-listed townhouse in the heart of Chipping Norton, England. Built in 1655 and now home to a local wine merchant, the house doubles as a characterful holiday let.

The identity takes its cue from the building’s eccentric charm where nothing quite sits straight. The logotype is a nod to the house’s architectural character and the feeling of being a bit tipsy after a few glasses. We also designed some keepsakes including a set of postcards featuring archival images of historical wine glasses from The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection—pairing global history with a local sense of time and place.

This project is currently on pause while the future of the property is reconsidered.
